Caves of the Wumpus

A strange mist rises to envelope you completely. The mist is very thick and impossible to see through. A strong wrenching sensation grips you and you feel your insides being tried into knots...

Just as suddenly as the feeling came it vanashes, and the surrounding mist clears to reveal...

7 : Palaeontologist's Dream

Around the walls of this large cavern you can see the carefully excavated bones of numerous dinosaurs. Over there you can see the three horned triceratops, and over here is the dreaded trannosaurus rex. The fossils however seem to stop about two-thirds of the way up the walls of the cavern where a dark, charcoal like, line encircles the cave.

You also find that the torch in your left hand is burning very brightly. In fact, it seems to be a completely new torch and likely to continue to burn strongly for a least a couple of hours.

In your other hand you discover a crossbow already loaded and cocked with a deadly looking bolt. On your back a small quiver is strapped comfortably, in which you find 4 more of the deadly bolts.

You feel that the wumpus is hiding somewhere nearby.

You are in cave 7: ``Palaeontologist's Dream'', and you are hunting the wumpus with 5 bolts left. Three passages are clearly signed with their destination.
