Hi,
We have modified the conference program slightly to include new information about when and where papers are due.
The picasso exhibition is timed with conference as are many other events. If you want to find out what else is on. Please check this link for details.
The conference will be held at the Southbank campus of Griffith University. This campus in very close to Brisbane’s central business district (CBD) so most CBD hotels are walking distance or easily accessible to the venue by public transport.
Please find some links that will help you get around Brisbane.
If you can only get a hotel in the Brisbane CBD, the best (and cheapest) way to get to the Southbank Campus is to walk to the King George Square bus station (next to the city hall) and catch the 333 bus to the Southbank Cultural centre bus stop. It is then a short walk to the Griffith University Southbank campus.
The Southbank Visitors Information Centre - www.visitsouthbank.com.au
Phone +61 7 3867 2051. This center is right in the middle of the Southbank parklands (the conference venue).
We recommend the following hotels
At the conference site itself (Southbank)
In the Brisbane central business area (within a 2 kilometer radius of Southbank).
If you cannot find accommodation close to the venue, you can catch a bus, train or a City Cat ferry. All details are in the Brisbane transport website (Your destination is the Cultural Centre Busway, Southbank rail station or the Southbank ferry station all within as easy walk to the Southbank Campus of Griffith University – consult www.whereis.com.au for walking directions). The Internet link for Brisbane Transport is http://www.translink.com.au/
For more detailed instructions consult www.whereis.com.au - Your walking destination is Griffith University Southbank Campus
